Indian Gods Watch, Watches

Look at all the faces of God. Total wristwatch Darshan, Batman! Observe the hands of God, which may allow us to recall what time it is. Or, I'nsh Allah, to surrender our schedules to their divine will.

Or perhaps they're just gauche accessories, yet another fetish object in a long series of orientalist consumerist accouterments. In any case: what's up with the bands? Are they leather?
