A (Fictional) Yoga Murder In Mysore, South India?

I just heard about Peter Guttridge who, besides officially working on the a new James Bond novel, writes "a satirical crime series featuring the love-lorn yoga-obsessive Nick Madrid."

Now I haven't read any of Guttridge's books, so I can't recommend them. But Nick did sprout from the notion that "someone witnessing a murder whilst trapped in an unfeasible yoga position is funny." At least that's his tune in this interview at Shots Ezine. Therein Guttridge also reveals that in Nick's adventure, he travels to Mysore to study with Pattabhi jois.

I figured it was worth a mention.

Moreover, Guttridge was a student of the late, legendary, western yoga instructor Derek Ireland. And his website features an abridged version of an article that they wrote together, with some yoga demonstration photos too.
