Sritattvanidhi Ganapati, Illuminated Manuscript
"..an iconographic treatise written in the 19th century in Karnataka by the then Maharaja of Mysore, Krishnaraja Wodeyar III... The Maharaja was a great patron of art and learning and was himself a scholar and writer. There are around 50 works ascribed to him. The first page of the Sritattvanidhi attributes authorship of the work to the Maharaja himself."

Provoked by Google's initiative to scan the texts at the University of Mysore's Library (more), and inspired by Nara Allsop's striking images from Namarupa #6, I began googling. The Namarupa drawings were made according to elaborate specifications detailed within an old text at the Mysore library... Along the way I found the beautiful images above, which appear on this amazing Wikipedia entry on the Sritattvanidhi ("The Illustrious Treasure of Realities").
